On Wednesday, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg unveiled a slew of new augmented reality glasses, including what he claimed to be the "first AI glasses with high resolution," a new $799 version of its Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses that features a tiny screen that's viewable to the wearer.

But it didn't take long for the company's MetaConnect 2025 keynote to descend into chaos. The social media giant's demos repeatedly failed, leading to awkward stares, deafening silences, and muted laughter.

The poor showing painfully demonstrates that the tech is far from ready, even as companies continue to shove AI into every aspect of our daily lives.

Okay?

So let me get this straight. A society of billions should grovel at the feet of these specific human meatbags, filled with the same blood, brains, hearts, and other mammalian organic matter as the rest of us...because they are immature little shits?

Is this correct?

They aren't and can't force anyone to do anything. That is a choice everyone is making. They are tiny, minuscule little insects who would vanish with a thought if humanity chose so.

I can't wait for our planet to wake up.

Assuming 'they' are the billionaires.... Who do you think is actually controlling everything?

See, that is a loaded question, and depends on how you view the universe.

I view the universe as a multidimensional, at least aleph one omniverse, consisting of an infinite ladder of super-set verses, of which we are in only a single subset infinite universe.

The substrate upon which these realities exist I refer to as "the source". People have had many names for it through time, one might call it The Tao, another Brahman, another still might call it "God," (though given the nature of reality, there are tiers of these god beings, and the beings people think of "god" on this planet are merely higher-dimensional reality caretakers).

In any case, for me, I would say that source energy is "controlling" everything, as it provided the reality substrate necessary for stable/continued "being".

That source energy supersedes all reality boundaries, including creators and caretakers of universes, regardless of dimensionality.

But let's bring it back to this reality and your question. Here on Earth, I believe the laws of physics control everything. Those are the physical boundaries placed on us humans. They can't be violated by material means, and provide a tidy framework for these meat bodies to comprehend truth and structured boundaries.

Still not close enough to home? Let's talk about human invented social constraints, then.

The PEOPLE control everything. We farm the food, we build the buildings, we engineer new inventions and maintain old ones, we run the factories, we run the governments...none of this works without the people making it work. So the people are the ones actually controlling everything.

We aren't mindless machines. We can make choices. Just because most people choose to be mindless servants with the most vile humans imaginable pulling the levers does not make that reality. That is a choice, and it is a choice we can choose to stop making collectively in an instant.

One could say these vampire lords have used the laws of physics to create levers on society in the form of mass media, social media, money, etc in order to control the people. A sort of twisted nervous system (it certainly doesn't help the nerves), which they use to move the monstrous might of the people. It seems to be working right now, I will say that. So when I become overwhelmed in the frame of a single human body under the thumb of these monsters, I like to go in to my mind, a place they don't yet have access, imagine we are just on one single pale blue dot among many, in one solar system among countless, in one galaxy among innumerable, in one universe among infinite, in a reality multiverse amidst then timeless expanse of creation, all as a tiny speck of dust within a void that could, from this frame, occupy the space of a single cell in my own body. And so, I realize, I have everything within me. And I like to think from that vantage point. Suddenly, these monsters become so very small. Even my own life and death become minuscule when seen from the lens of everything. But it is just something to imagine, nothing more :)

Using plainer language, it is really just a fancy way of saying that there is an ultimate cause-like thing in the sense that clearly forms exist, rather than nothing existing, so we may as well name it "the source" because that is more descriptive than more flowery names like Brahman or Tao. (Also, the term God is misleading because usually people associate it with a particular form, but the source cannot have a form because then there would be need to be a cause for that form!)

This might seem like abstract philosophy, but believe it or not it is actually directly relevant to you personally! You already know all of this intuitively because you are aware of the fact that you are aware, which means that you are directly aware of the existence of the source—in fact, in a way, you are already in union with the source of reality, because the whole point of the source is to make things exist rather than not existing, and at the core of your experience you are something that exists.

The reason why you might not appreciate this is because you (like me, and most other people) probably spend most of your time focused outward on the objects in your awareness, rather than on your awareness itself. However, it turns out that there is a lot of happiness and wisdom that can be gained by spending time practicing being consciously aware of the feeling of being aware; at the very least, I think it is really exciting to play with trying to connect more with the ultimate reality at the core of my being to gain intuition about the nature of reality! 😀 As a caveat, though: it's actually surprisingly tricky because it is hard to consciously change your focus to the feeling of being aware of being aware, so if you want to play with this then you need to be relaxed and watchful to create the conditions under which this can happen spontaneously.
