What I mean is a player who postups a lot, or gets his points from pick and rolls and putbacks. Doesn’t really shoot threes, and if he does they’re minimal. Back is to the basket a lot. Focuses a lot on defense and rebounding. Basically what you would think of a 90s big man

Ayton and Nurk coincidentally. You’re thought about 90s pick n rolls didnt exist that way though

I feel like Nurk's ability to be an offensive hub as an elbow passer is more modern. Ayton is a great call, his post repertoire of 15 different ways to get to an 8 foot hook or fade is classic 90's.

Nurk is not capable of being anything remotely resembling an offensive hub. His passing isn't a weakness and he occasionally makes a high quality read, but it is absolutely not something an offense is going to consistently rely on.
