The lord/lady is either trans, nonbinary, or a crossdresser and the peasant doesn't know what those are

It's less that I'm confused about what's happening on a surface level (though some of that is indeed a bit unclear with all that fake-old timey speak), and more that I'm confused what the OP actually wants to express with this story. Like, is this pro trans or anti-trans?
