It wasn't a misrepresentation, it was a complete fabrication
but honestly it just seems like they were trying to make a meme. Like two years ago when Tatum hit a game-winning bank shot, I used deep fake lip sync to have him lip sync to Paul Pierce hitting a game-winning bank shot: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G8TqVFkEi7g
To those who know the Pierce clip, it was an obvious meme. Maybe they assumed people were already super familiar with that original Dame clip??
