[IWC Big Pilot Monopusher Petit Prince] How did IWC manage to make a "Le Petit Prince" watch without a trace of "Le Petit Prince" branding/design?? (alien.top)

The Big Pilot Monopusher "Le Petit Prince" edition is very limited and would be such a cool watch... if there was any homage to "Le Petit Prince" on it... they could have done a gold engraving on the back-plate but they didn't.

I really don't get it... Nothing for the watch collector to look at and smile... Truly a wasted opportunity.

That is quite bizarre. Monochrome described it (below) but that doesn't really explain the thinking.

THE PRINCELY TOUCH As with all “Le Petit Prince” editions, the dial features the signature deep blue with a sunray-brushed finishing. The vertical layout of the counters is clean and symmetric with a recessed and snailed 60-minute totaliser for the chronograph at 12 and small seconds at 6 o’clock. The large stylised Arabic numerals are applied to the dial and filled with luminescence, as are the propeller-style hands and the triangle and two dots at noon. Substituting the numeral 3 is a date window with a white background.

that's probably why - what is a very limited and cool watch that should be very sought after - is being offered unworn/brand new below or at msrp a whole year after its release date

IWC really messed up here, imo
