Even entertaining this sounds risky to me. I guess they're hoping that providing a realistic number would dissuade Albertans from voting for exiting the CPP.

BTW the original analysis done for the UCP was done by no other than Telus who own what used to be Mornau Shepell. That's the report Smith is using in her 7M ad campaign at the moment. I have a feeling there might have been a conversation in which Telus was proposed as a potential manager of this portfolio, should it materialize.

100%. If it's coming from Alberta and the UCP you can guarantee the numbers they're providing are cooked and there is some shady activity going on. Alberta's UCP is more corrupt than Ontario's Conservatives or possibly even the federal Conservatives and that's a pretty high bar to pass.
