For the outdoor speakers, I am torn between on wall speaker facing the outside or the house. Would appreciate your feedback. Thanks in advance!

Exterior (option 1, blue): on wall speaker TBD (maybe DEFINITIVE TECHNOLOGY AW6500)
Exterior (option 2, red): in ceiling speaker TBD // least likely option since in ceiling speakers are lacking in bass response.
Exterior (option 3, green): on wall speaker facing towards the house // more evenly distributed speakers

I have my outdoors speakers on the wall facing out like yours in blue.

  1. out of the weather under eves
  2. better bass being against the wall
  3. sound projects out to the yard/pool and not to the neighbors on either side. High quality speakers with a decent amount of power provide better bass but not like having a sub woofer. I was not creating an outdoor home theater but entertaining background music environment.
