I remember the hype coming out of duke, how teams were tanking for him, the “generational” talent/prospect talks. How by this time Zion would either be the straight up face of the league or one of them. Definitely a top ten player and more than likely a top 5 player by now. That basically didn’t happen, he’s been surpassed by other young players since. I legit remember several Who would you rather have going forward Luka or Zion threads. It’s crazy

It’s hard to watch when by like 24 he’s already clearly slower and doesn’t jump nearly as high.

Sky was the limit and he’s regressing before 25

LBJ's body aside, most guys carrying around that much weight aren't going to last long in the NBA. Way too much pounding and jumping. His knees, his back, his hips are going to grind down way too fast with that build of his.

(Add in his less-than-devoted attitude towards rehab and getting/staying in shape, he's not helping his career at all.)
