Leading the league in ppg at 32 on 51/38/75 shooting splits. Team is 5-1 with him on the floor and 2-3 without him. Truly an MVP caliber start to the season and no one in national media is talking about it.

Because random people on the internet are what drive content for sports writers, which feeds into an overall narrative for awards, and we all know that the nba car3s about the product so superstars get more calls and the teams of superstars get better whistles. It all matters and if you think the average fan's talking points have zero impact then you are just ignorant.
