I'm about to have a heart attack and die of non-surprise.

Well, color me yellow and stick an electric extension cord in my ass and call me Pikachu because I'm shocked.

I’m… so all going according to plan. Anyone out there ever thought for a moment that it was intended to be non-profit? Humongous L-O-L. That’s a way to get people to see it as non-threatening for a while during the phase when they need the most interest and voluntary adoption. Get embedded, then rise up and conquer, profit.

Get plausible deniability, rack in VC cash, lock in the capital, leave everyone holding the bags.

We just had this with Theranos, though that was based on a complete lie, so I'll wait and see how this goes.

Because LLMs will not form a 'superintelligence' or whatever they want to call it.

LLMentalist as always

I don't think that is a surprise to anyone as OpenAI really shouldn't be a non profit.
