Never had anything to do with star trek in my life, I just see it in my everything list. So what exactly does risa stand for?

Risa is the name of a planet that was discovered in Star Trek. It's a paradise planet where anything goes, so it became a popular vacation/shore leave spot for Starfleet across multiple Trek series.

So, of the Star Trek communities on Lemmy (previously reddit), Risa was used as the name of the loosely moderated community for memes and stuff.
