Hollywood Reporter is owned by Eldridge Industries, which among other holding owns a studio that makes shows for Netflix.

Misleading information about what's going on has been the bread and butter of execs since the start. It's been their tactic since the very beginnings of the strike to try and turn public opinion against the movement.
