PP is our version of Trump it seems
jesus

[–] Reverendender@sh.itjust.works 7 points 5 months ago

I was just going to ask if he was Donald Trump. Fuck.

[–] SamuelRJankis@lemmy.world 6 points 5 months ago (1 children)

I think the biggest difference is that while people probably shouldn't some genuinely like Trump but it seems most people really just tolerate Pierre at best.

I'll be honest I don't really know that much about PP except that in my circles PP is known as being a real loon.

I'm just hoping that fellow Canadians consider voting for NDP then Liberals then the Quebec party rather than Conservatives because if there's fanaticism (rather than tolerance) around PP and the Conservatives there's a real chance that Canada could also join America and their sinking Titanic/Concordia😬🙃

They're all Donald Trump.... They're all like Donald Trump.

[–] Glide@lemmy.ca 26 points 5 months ago

When you've built your entire political personality around being "not that guy" and that guy drops out of the race.

[–] skozzii@lemmy.ca 22 points 5 months ago* (last edited 5 months ago)

He's not even running anymore and the dude can't quit talking about him, PP is probably so upset Justin is straight and they couldn't be together.

I'm reminded of Trump's meltdown when Biden dropped out.

I hope the result is better this time, and I hope the Liberals and/or NDP learn the lesson that the Harris campaign utterly failed to: that when the problem is an unpopular incumbent, you don't say we're going to keep doing what the incumbent was going.

You'd hope.. They're all in on the game. The game never changes.

Is this Justin Trudeau in the room with us now, Pierre?

[–] xmunk@sh.itjust.works 16 points 5 months ago

As the saying goes: it's Trudeaus all the way down.

[–] apprehensively_human@lemmy.ca 13 points 5 months ago

The Liberals don't even have a leader yet and already the CPC propaganda machine is churning out mudslinging slogans.

[–] TheAgeOfSuperboredom@lemmy.ca 11 points 5 months ago (1 children)

So many "um"s and "uh"s! Is Poilievre Justin Trudeau???

[–] Nouveau_Burnswick@lemmy.world 5 points 5 months ago (1 children)

They're both just Chris Wilson in different costumes.

[–] mPony@lemmy.world 1 points 5 months ago (1 children)

they couldn't afford Will Forte

[–] Nouveau_Burnswick@lemmy.world 1 points 5 months ago

They won't be able to afford Chris either, if the conservatives are elected.

What a fuckwit. He’s got nothing other than “Trudeau bad”. No plan no policy.

[–] theacharnian@lemmy.ca 1 points 5 months ago

What do you mean no policy, he has all the Verb The Noun policies.

[–] Mongostein@lemmy.ca 9 points 5 months ago

He’s got nothing else to campaign on. Of course they’re all Trudeau. 🙄

[–] Rentlar@lemmy.ca 8 points 5 months ago

Lol, PP is hoping that 4 years of brainwashing against Trudeau doesn't immediately fall apart when he resigns.

[–] psvrh@lemmy.ca 1 points 5 months ago

And I, am all the JEDI!!!
