Let’s fix this up a bit: Scotiabank said Wednesday it's kowtowing to global market trends with needlessly firing about three per cent of its global workforce as a result of ~~changes at the bank and customers' day-to-day banking preferences, as well as ongoing efforts to streamline operations.~~ a bullshit forced recession and to force the existing workforce to work harder and be more subservient.

Is Scotiabank the worst of the big banks?

I don't know if it's better or worse than CIBC.

I've dealt with TD, BMO, and Scotiabank. Scotiabank had by far the most incompetent staff. The number of times they either forgot to mention crucial details or forgot to do a something important is completely unacceptable for a financial institution.

Scotiabank is the only one that spammed me with insurance sales calls ten years ago and wouldn't let me take myself off the list because having a bank account was a pre-existing business relationship. I had to close my bank account to get the spam calls to stop

TD is the worst. Scotia, Bmo, Royal, and CIBC are tied for second worse.

Royal is worst; TD and CIBC are tied for second and SB and BMO for third
