I’m not saying he doesn’t need to try on defence, but there is no player in the league with a higher floor as a rim protector. Even if he’s playing as chill as can be, he’ll still make life HELL at the rim for anyone. His defensive ceiling is literally the GOAT and the gap would be similar to Steph’s atop the shooters list.

Honestly, the only part of his game that looking pretty raw is his shot-selection. He went 3/10 tonight, and several of those attempts were early, deep, unforced, walk-into threes that had no chance of going in. I know he's still experimenting, but I think he's hemorrhaging value playing away from the rim so much.
