I was convinced portland needed to trade CJ and develop allen crabbe 😭
NBA - Main
Game analysis, highlights and everything else that is happening in the NBA.
I thought AD was going to be a bust.
Steph would struggle to stay on the floor in the NBA due to a severe lack of athleticism.
I said Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum would never make the NBA finals together.
I thought Taytum was gonna be more potential than end product.
Darko! Okay? Can I go now?
I told my friends that Hasheem Thabeet was going to be better than Dwight Howard and was going to be an all star
Looney was always going to be hopelessly injured and a lost cause.
Sorry Loons plz forgive me.
Pistons fans were morons for wanting Devin Booker over Stanley Johnson
Drummond > curry
Trae will be at least as good as Luka after a few years
Yea I was just flat out wrong
Kevin Durant will be Donyell Marshall 2.0. A nice scorer with no D. Bench heater at best.
NOT VERY CLOSE.
I was certain Batum was done and just about out of the league…back in 2014-15 because his scoring dipped that year. It was his fifth or sixth season
I was certain Isaac Bonga would be the bench version of Giannis, or a starter but super discount version of Giannis. Like same style and strengths but just not as good as Giannis. He’s not in the league at all now.
I could still end up right about this, maybe I’m a few years early, but I though the old school, classic style, low post, punishing style of bigs would come back because so many big men these days just aren’t that type of strong and don’t have the same type of post skills. But the athleticism and shooting just plays this old school bigs off the court since they’re too slow to defend it, and todays bigs do have some under the basket skills that just don’t get the same recognition we used to give that style.
I thought Melo would have a better career than Lebron. I realized I was wrong pretty quickly on that one, though.
"Obi Toppin will be a decent NBA player"
Lakers with Nash, Kobe, Artest, Gasol, Howard, would get at least one championship, maybe 2
I said I didn’t think Murray & MPJ would’ve been enough of a supporting cast to win a championship. Not only was I wrong on both, I didn’t expect Aaron Gordon to become as good as he was last year.
Cam Reddish would be the best of Zion, RJ and Cam lol. I was convinced by his jumper relative to the other 2
I thought that the Warriors we’re gonna build around Poole once Steph retired
After the 2018 draft I thought Lonnie Walker IV would be an All Star by now.
I said that Giannis will win a ring, but not with the Bucks. Expected him to be less loyal and move to make a superteam or something.
Look at Kevin Durant, there’s no way his body could hold up in the nba-me a blazers fan confident in the Greg oden pick
Ben Simmons is a star
Ty Lue is just someone who will do what LeBron tells him and won't end up being that great of a coach.
Turns out he is really smart and a great coach.
Bones highland had good 6th man potential and a great attitude.
That Derrick Rose was a nice guy but then he raped.
Ty Lawson was gonna push us over the edge
I thought it was insane to want to pick Dwight Howard over Emeka Okafor.
In 2014-2015 I was saying that Giannis would only be a good role player at best. Boy was I wrong
Thought Porzingis was gonna be like a top 5-10 player.
He's good and looking better in Boston but he's not at that level and I don't know if he has the potential to get there anymore.
Erik Spoelstra was a bad coach and rode LeBron's cape to championships. Feel pretty bad about that one now
I truly thought Tyreke Evans was the next big thing after that rookie season.
I recall taking my college roommate that Marcus Banks was going to be better than rondo while we were watching a preseason game
The Simmons-Embid duo was dangerous... but only to Simmons' mental health
I thought Portland would win in my lifetime. I'm 45.
