Shawn Marions shot was ugly af but homie got buckets
NBA - Main
Game analysis, highlights and everything else that is happening in the NBA.
His jumper was weird af for sure, but his game was pretty smooth actually in my opinion.
Jokic
Al Jefferson for sure when he was playing
Joker— his footwork is phenomenal but his game is anything but smooth.
Ryan Anderson
Austin Reeves, sorry man..
Brook Lopez
Yall seen Luka, right?
That's Jokic for me.
Man looks like he's falling over or getting shoved, slow as hell, can't defend.
But he's the MVP god and will fuck your team up 6 ways from sunday.
The Sambor Shuffle does NOT pass the eye test for what a “good shot” is supposed to be. But the ball goes in the hoop regardless.
Jokic looks exhausted and that gives teams hopes in the playoffs but that’s just how he plays
His highlights are always the least athletic incredibly impressive shit ever.
He looks like a player who eats a couple of hotdogs at halftime and is in a bit of a food coma, but somehow it all works together.
Rudy of course
Kawhi feel like his moves are very off season work out patterned. Defenders know what’s coming but can’t stop it
Rod Strickland
Joel — lumbers around but has skillz
Jokic?
Joker is the poster boy for this. Not always pretty but he gets it done.
Haliburton for sure.
The NBA Medvedev if you will...
Cam Payne
He has a clunky looking jumpshot that doesn't feel like it'll ever go in but does for some reason. He also has one gear which is going fast only, reminds me of a young Devin Harris.
Slomo
kat’s game looks disgusting when he’s not shooting 3s above the break. it works though.
i think paul millsap also had a noticeably ugly game back in the day
Yeah, the 3 ball is the only aesthetic part of his game lol. I guess he has some nice dunks once in a while too. His post game is bowling shoe ugly tho.
Kawhi. I can’t believe he wasn’t mentioned much. He’s a great scorer even though it doesn’t look like it if you watch him. Even his shot looks like it isn’t going in half the time because it has a flatter trajectory but it does.
You're literally describing Jokic, every game. At one point last season a reporter asked something like how did you hit that off balance three and he replied I live my whole life off balance
I think Draymond has weird form for everything but he's so smart it works out.
Antoine Walker
Kyle Anderson
Draymond… can’t shoot, layup game is mediocre, awkward handle, and not super athletic. However, he’s a great defender and a huge part of one of the best offences ever.
Antawn Jamison was one of the original good bad shot shooters
Antawn Jameson was this guy
Kaier Li
Honestly, and this is a wild take, but LeBron kinda. He’s obviously effective, arguably the goat, but aesthetically his game is kinda cumbersome - especially now that he doesn’t have the bounce he used to.
And obviously Joker is the king of this category.
Zach Randolph comes to mind.
Georges niang
Jokic
Kyle anderson. Probably the most important player on the wolves last season. We don’t make the playoffs without him
kevon looney? very effective and the perfect center for the warriors, but definitely not the smoothest.
Kelly Olynyk, he has a swiss army knife of skills, including solid passing and vision, good handles, shooting stroke, and decent defense, but his gangling gait, floppy hair and defense, and bevy of janky drive moves might lead to parents covering their kids' eyes.
Pascal and Siakam
This was TJ Warren for a few years
