Looking to go to the Blazers/Lakers game on 11/17 which happens to be a game in the new in-season tournament. One of the bigger motivators to go to this game is to see LeBron play in-person.

Do we think there's a possibility they'd rest stars for this in-season tourney? Particularly LeBron? What say you?

Probably not. It’s like any other regular season game. Good chance he plays unless he gets injured or if it’s the second game of a back to back.

At worst they will treat it like any other game. It still counts as 1 of 82 (the only game that doesn't is the final which isn't scheduled since no one knows who is playing in it yet). Is the game second of a back to back? I would be worried in that case. If it isn't decent odds he plays.

The games still count for regular season record. Also considering that 8 of the 14 guys on his team have salaries below $5mil, and there’s a $500k bonus (to each player) for winning the tourny (200k to runner ups).. it would a bit of a dick move to intentionally sit those games, barring injury.
