A nice place to discuss rumors, happenings, innovations, and challenges in the technology sphere. We also welcome discussions on the intersections of technology and society. If it’s technological news or discussion of technology, it probably belongs here.

Remember the overriding ethos on Beehaw: Be(e) Nice. Each user you encounter here is a person, and should be treated with kindness (even if they’re wrong, or use a Linux distro you don’t like). Personal attacks will not be tolerated.

Someone should ask him which reddit alternative will he jump ship to when reddit starts dying. Lol.

I wonder if we can get his karma to 0

[–] SomethingBurger@beehaw.org 8 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Probably not. Downvotes below -100 don't count towards a user's total karma.

[–] annenas@beehaw.org 7 points 2 years ago

That explains why his karma is somehow going up instead of down >____>

Practically every answer is him not actually answering the question

[–] mara@pawb.social 11 points 2 years ago

He's answering as a CEO, not as a community member. What did you expect lol

So business as usual for reddit

[–] Bolldere@kbin.social 5 points 2 years ago

I made a funny comment about not hearing feedback with the top down on your lambo and it got downvoted into oblivion, full damage and narrative control

We'll be telling our grandchildren that we remember the time /u/spez did an AMA...

Back in 2022 and 2023 i remember people finally getting fed up and abandoning corporate social media platforms in droves after realizing that 20 years of centralized platforms didnt work.

What a complete clown. Does he really not grok that no one on Reddit trusts him?

[–] Spitfire@pawb.social 5 points 2 years ago

I’m sure the most popular questions will go unanswered.

He will likely only answer cherry picked questions, vaguely at that.
