Who’s surprised this guy is a bust? Coming in you saw his frame and knew he had to trim things down. The fact that he never did tells you all you need to know about his mindset.
NBA - Main
Game analysis, highlights and everything else that is happening in the NBA.
Jowl Ming outta pocket for this.
Bro’s still depressed he’s not a Knick
An absolute all time bust
Things you could do better are actually playing games
Oh man, that dude is struggling. Poor guy
He ain't gonna see 60 years old
This is what Magic said before he got Westhead fired haha
He breathin harder than Tony Soprano after bangin. Carmella
Dudes hangry
Lmao bust
L O S E R
This guy sucks
He probably just got off the stationary bike.
He’s actually playing?
Idk if this is some insane conspiracy theorist shit, but Zion has only ever spoken up about one player and that was Lonzo Ball, said they had good chemistry on and off the floor and the pelicans let him go. Ever since that Zion has not been the same dude and I think it's been fucking with his mental against the team ever since. Probably trying to give this team a chance after coming back from injury, but I can only imagine Brandon Ingram the ballhog iso-machine is annoying to play with.
Mr ~~bourne~~ Williamson will you commit to the program?
never seen a dude winded at the press conference. wild.
He still looks fat LOL
This dude just got done fighting a five round war lol
They literally just got to the playoffs but HE DIDN’T PLAY. Recurring theme. Not the teams fault
ZION is good when you are healthy
Well you were on a vacation for 3 years. You will need time probably. Although i think you will be gone from the league in max 5 years. No discipline whatsoever. No routine. Probably fatter than you should be was well. On the top of that you haven't improved one bit since you went to the league
You don't play enough to say stuff like this
Non-native here and not a basketball guy, a kind soul could explain what does "buy in" mean ?
It means willingly adapt to a system/situation.
In very crude musical terms, it's like a musician joining a new band, and having to learn new songs, deal with new bandmates, etc. That would be the musician "buying in" to the new band. It's not a perfect analogy, but close enough.
Really nice analogy to get a better grasp of the term. Thank you mate!
It means be willing to do with the coach/system is asking of you, not doing what you want to do instead. If you just do what you want, the players and the coaches will know you are not adhering to the game plan, and it likely means you don’t think their game plan works. Well, if we have someone in the team not doing what we practiced and not following our game plan, then for sure we’re not going to succeed. So even if you disagree with the plan, I’m the coach, and if we’re going to have any chance of my plan succeeding, I need you to at least try to follow it - I need you to “buy in”.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write that detailed answer! I understand now why I came across this term in other sports article too. (always thought is was somehow financial...)
There is no other sport where players are coddled like the NBA, these guys are given huge contracts and they literally can just quit at any given moment. Get up and play bro, your being paid to play.
dude why is he breathing so hard
Given he's highly reminiscent of legendary NO bust/headcase Ricky Williams, "Williamson" is an appropriate surname.
"Shawn Michaels losing his smile" energy here.
He just doesn’t have the mamba anything
This dude just wants to get fat and bang skanks...when FA happens for him I say let him....let the knicks deal with him.
Who here could tolerate your whole team calling you out like it’s an intervention meeting? He has to be traded.
Bust.
He gone
I’m running out of breath just listening to this interview.
I feel like you have to hoop a full season before you start bitching.
