NBA is so fucking soft. These techs are lame as fuck. Pretty soon you gonna have to play without making noises and have your hands at your side .. while looking down at the floor..don’t make eye contact with the refs or immediately ejected.

I was excited for the NBA. But they need to take their power away as refs. This is straight up bull shit.

Ref show this year has been incredible

Unpopular opinion but I like the refs calling more techs when some of the all stars are complaining/whining. It has gotten pretty excessive over the years. This one wasn’t bad at all obviously why it was posted to social media. But I overall I like them cleaning up the complaining

Honest question…when the NBAPA negotiates with the league every few years for salaries and such, don’t they talk about officiating standards?

In other words, how come the players don’t have some say/influence over the officiating standards?

The ref got reminded of his wife locking the door to their bedroom which is why he called the whistle

I don't think that was an overreaction by the refs, someone could have been seriously hurt if their balls were in that exact spot he clapped.

Wow...I have no love for the Celtics, but that was petty as petty gets. No clapping? Is that even a rule? It's not like he was clapping in the ref's face, or clapping his ass cheeks together. He clapped...once. Not particularly aggressively either. Refs just wanting everything to be about them, as usual.

The NBA needs to start reviewing all techs given by the refs. If not a necessary tech then it should be rescinded and the ref should be fined instead. Watch how quick these weak techs stop getting called
