Rocky 4 - keep going against overwhelming odds
Paid in full.
Life changed after I saw that movie. I started taking risks, and it paid off. Not in the same line of work like in the movie, but the hustler in me came out and it's been like that ever since.
Damon Dash produced Paid in Full along with Harvey Weinstein and he slapped Weinstein during the production for "disrespecting women".
There's even a rap song about it called Once Upon a Time.
At the end of his verse, Cam raps :
"No disrespecting the ladies, word from my team
That's the reason Dame smacked Harvey Weinstein
On the set of Paid In Full, y'all gave him hell about it."
Dash was quoted as follows.
"I know I made Paid in Full over there, and I know that him and I had a lot of aggressive interaction. And I know even culturally, like, my people would say things, like, I would see interviews with Wood Harris and with Just Blaze and all that, and they'd be like, "Oh, he yelled at Harvey Weinstein. He yelled at the Weinsteins." But the bottom line is, like, when I look at somebody treat other people wrong, I can't just look the other way. And any opportunity I get, I know I'm strong, but I'm always gonna make them suffer for the people that aren't strong enough."

Family guy, it showed me how one sperm can kill millions of other sperms and win.
Change my life is a strong word. I'll list some that I had fun watching.
Middle Men Tetris
The original Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971).
Charlie went from not being able to afford a chocolate bar to finding money on the street. Then experiencing a whole new world to owning the whole goddamn factory!
If that doesn’t describe the journey of an entrepreneur, nothing does.

This movie inspired me to move to Pakistan and sew soccer balls full time.
Think it's inspired a lot of people with their art. Guy gets $1 million for his cartoon, pretty inspirational tbh.

Pirates of Silicon Valley
That movie taught me that if you know you have a good idea and can make an impact, just keep driving forward and figure out the details as you go.
Free Solo — it’s a movie about Alex Honnold, free-solo rock climber. It certainly changed my life. I recommend it.
German version of Stalingrad. It was brutal, miserable and sad, as well as feeling a lot more real when people spoke Russian and German filming it, instead of different accents of English, as most of the war movies I'd seen up until then.
Probably altered my view on current Ukrainian conflict, and how not helping out is inhuman.
Meet the Robinsons. This movie was the best animated movie I had seen in my childhood because this movie teaches lesson of accepting the failure. The best line of the movie was "Keep Moving Forward".

The Founder - I was already deep into business, and on the verge of calling it quits …… That movie hit at the right time to motivate me to stick to my plans

As a young boy watching Seven years in Tibet altered my path. Made me long for the orient, seeking adventures and exploring the unknown.
In my late 20s I have had +40 near death experiences spread across 4 continents, eaten snake deep in the Vietnamese jungle, motorbiked across Colombia, climbed numerous mountains at the edges of the world as well as well as lived nearly for a decade in the orient.
Funnily enough I've never had the fortune to visit Tibet!
Empire Records. I knew every line of that movie, watched it so many times during my high school years.
