Look at that size of quads and calves on CP3 compared to Chet. Even though CP3 does not have wide shoulders they are still wider than Chet's. CP3 is legitimately stronger overall than Chet.

I'm no rocket scientologist, but that's a man (CP3) that knows how to use leverage. He's smaller, heavier, and get's lower. I dunno how Chet realistically has a shot of backing down a guy that's centered his gravity like that.

It can be hard to back down smaller guys like that because their center of gravity is so low. That's part of the reason Muggsy Bogues stuck around for so long. Take into account how thin Chet is right now, and this actually makes sense.

I'm tall for my area, I prefer to post up other guys my height cause short guys are like trying to back down a doorstop. They are all the leverage and are way lower. It's actually pretty hard

There are some smaller guys that are really good Post defenders. Believe it or not James Harden is one of the best post defending guards in the league. I have seen every great player in the league try and back him down and realize that it wasn’t a good idea. He’s trash on face up defense, but I’ve seen centers not be able to back James Harden down.

When CP3 moved to the strong side to cut off that direction that was an easy spin and dunk. Chet needs better technique, Giannis spins and dunks on much bigger and faster defenders literally every game in the same situation.

How can’t be good if he can’t turn his back to the basket, back down a smaller player, and get to a spot in the floor that his unskilled ass can actually shoot from? As a player over 6’6 you need the go to move of every fat unskilled 6th grader

As a somewhat tall man, I can confirm that it isn't always easy to bully people in the post. If they're quick, they can move with you whenever you try to change direction, and if they are strongly built, their low center of gravity makes it tough to go through them without obviously commiting a charge. The best way to score is to just face up with the ball high enough so it cannot be easily poked away and calmly shoot over.

Chet got the ball a bit late and jumped for the pass which allowed Chris to move his body while he was airborne, and that pushed him way too far.

Of course, better technique once he had the ball would help him a lot, but it still isn't easy for someone who doesn't have a huge weight advantage (or, as said, much better technique.)

The wolves announcers were talking about this one of our recent games with the warriors. CP3 isn't the mismatch you would expect from a guard his size. He knows how to defend well in the post as a small guy, and is hard to move off of his spot.
