Swapping back and forth all of the time is getting to be a monotonous. I would like to sell one and keep the other. In the beginning I was very partial to the explorer but sometimes I can’t imagine not having the date function. Plus the DJ does sit a larger on the wrist and that is also nice. Tough choice here to just walk away with one…So help me decide because I am really at an impasse with this..
Explorer. So iconic and elegant in a simplistic way.

Explorer all the way. The explorer’s dial is more symmetrical/looks better and the polished center links of the DJ are more of a scratch magnet.

Explorer all the way. What the Explorer has done for watch design is analogous to what Apple has done for computers.
DJ all the way.. I don't like the oversized explorer markers and numbers, DJ just looks way classier
Having an Explorer or similar watch in your lineup is important. You want a watch that goes with almost anything, and can be dressed up or dressed down as needed. It’s like having a pair of really nice jeans that you can wear with almost anything.
I'm a sucker for 3 6 9 12 numbering, BUT I absolutely hate the Mercedes hand. Right
Datejust full send, I very much dislike the Explorer I, not quite sure why.
DJ, I need the date window as well.. but I would take the explorer any day as well. Can’t go wrong either way

LEFT for sure, the explorer has one of the most iconic watch designs of all time, judge me, but this is the ultimate one watch collection !

If you moved the polished center link bracelet over to the explorer with Mercedes hour hand, I would do it.. but I haven't read through this thread. Maybe someone already suggested this 🤔

I hate a cyclops. I dislike the Mercedes hand. Otherwise they're both unreal amazing. I'd go explorer.

Dj looks better but idk much about watches, just interested.
Datejust on a oyster bracelet with the smooth bezel always looked odd to me so I would go with the Explorer.
Honestly, I’d source a lighter color dial and a fluted bezel for the DJ and call it a day. It’ll be different enough to keep both in the collection.
