I suppose. But only for a bit
I'm not lurking. You are!
Lurk, Mom! No Reddit!
This.
Alright... this marks the end of my lurking lifestyle then, I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Don't tell me what to do, I'll engage when I'm ready >:(
hol up
So, should we recreate our favorite subreddits to get them going?
@BoringToMyself @bitsplease Absolutely! The best way to get folks moved is through creation of their favorite subs in the #fediverse. Show them a viable alternative exists, runs mostly well, and they'll trickle in.
Just made an account, doing my part! It is a bit annoying how I have to scroll all the way down to comment though.
Was lurking on Reddit for 10 years, made just 9 comments that whole time; when there's so much noise you don't feel you have much to add to the conversation. But us lurkers have a chance to be heard in a growing community and help shape it in some way, gotta get out of my comfort zone I guess.

I'm confused by Lemmy but also excited to try and help it grow.
Me too. It feels like early reddit stages trying to figure out what subreddits and whatnot are as a newcomer. I'm slowly getting the hang of it. The jerboa app has been cool too!
