Game analysis, highlights and everything else that is happening in the NBA.
It's really hard because most people only watch their teams and see unflattering snippets of others (because the internet rewards positivity way less than negativity). So everyone gets skewed opinions.
I personally also really like the Hornets broadcast. They're fun.
The Celtics broadcast since Heihnson passed has been good too.
My favorite are the Nets though. They've got Ian Eagle and he's awesome.
I know they're probably not the best, but the Spurs are #1 in my heart.
Bill Land and Sean Elliott are a great combo, and adding Michelle Beadle into the mix has been the broadcast a lot more fun. They're homers, but will be critical of the team when they mess up. Sean is pretty funny and points out some good X and O stuff now and then.
Matt Bonner is a good change of pace as the second colour commentator. They did a great job last year for the 50th anniversary too.
Just watched the Clippers broadcast when they played the Rockets. Fratello is solid, but the play-by-play guy was terrific. They do have a good broadcast team.
My least favorite is the Nuggets. They just whine and complain all game. It's annoying.
I don't think many people watch them, but Lisa Byington and Marques Johnson for the bucks are really solid. It took them a minute to gel, but they have a good back and forth now.
They obviously want the bucks to win, but they never actively root against the other team. They will always point out solid play by the other team, and often give researched insights as to how they've been doing this season as compared to the bucks.
I don't see a lot of other teams' hometown announcers so it's hard to compare, but I prefer Lisa and Marques to any of the national crews and it's not really even close.
Bucks - Marques and Lisa are top 10. Lisa and Novak are #30. The Heat guys are top 3.
All i know is worst are Philly's for a while now. I did hear an improvement but would still regard it as insufficient.
