Out of curiosity, did you turn to the grey market to get this? Given that this is your first watch Iβm assuming you donβt have a relationship with an AD, but then again, you say youβre on a waitlist for the root beer. Asking cus Iβm interested in the mint green fluted dj but not interested in waiting 3 years for it lol
No this was from an AD, Hing Wa Lee Jewelers here in San Gabriel valley. I put myself on the waitlist for:
Submariner
No-date Sub
DJ41 in blue and green
They called me on the Sub but I turned them down when I got there, the normal black dial I thought I was going to love. But after sleeping on it I decided to pass on the piece because it just doesn't feel unique to me. If they had called me on a No Date Sub I probably would have bought that over the DJ. By the time they called me on the No Date I already bought the DJ and I wanted to pace myself at no more than one a year.
