Where’s the part where he calls a timeout? We need another angle lol

I don’t believe you and the evidence is posted above.

Surely in the modern world we can move past coaches having to yell at the ref from across the court for a timeout right? Give them some sort of button they can press for a timeout. Can't expect a referee to hear one coach screaming for timeout from the other end of the court when there are 18,000 screaming fans and the play right in front of you is intense and all over the place.

Literally just give the ref a Red Lobster table ready buzzer and each coach has a button they can push. Obviously it would be modified so the ref can wear it but same tech.

Added bonus, you can sync the button signal to a camera with a light so you can review the moment of timeout.

The refs couldn't hear. He should've ran onto the court signaling a TO

Good old fashioned heart rate-raising Celtics basketball is back, baby

This clip doesn't show anything. I doubt if Taylor Jenkins can call a timeout when Williams get the offensive rebound and turn around quickly to shoot the ball(with 2 secs left), leaving not enough time for any human at that point to call a timeout.

I find it weird that refs still have to physically look at coaches/players for a timeout signal. Why not just have like a button that sends a notification or something to the refs earpiece to avoid situations like this?

Next up, the refs miss an out of bounds call when a dude throws an alley oop of the shot clock
