Hello,

Seen this a few times on here but want some clarification on a few things. I purchased a speedy and a GS Shunbun in Japan, totaling around $8.5k USD. I don’t plan on hiding this from customs, I just wasn’t to know the process. Do you guys keep the watches on your carry on or checked bags? I plan on wearing one on the flight. Do I need to show receipts when I declare?

Please give me some examples of they you guys did when you purchased internationally and came back to the US. I will be landing in Los Angeles if that matters. Thanks in advance!

I would avoid putting a nice watch in checked luggage. Stuff gets stolen or lost in a regular basis, and the airlines won’t reimburse you.
