OKC is off to a pretty efficient start this season. Only being less efficient than two of the greatest teams in NBA history is certainly something that they will take, even if it's this early in the season. Up there with some pretty good company. Below is a table of every team to shoot above 61% TS through 14 games. 1 champion, 2 conference champions, 2 teams that made the conference finals, and the Sacramento Kings last year.

It's also worth noting that Milwaukee is on pace to do this this season (.611), but they've only played 13 games. Also worth noting that league average TS% has been trending upwards, so most of the high percentages are from recent years. This year, however, TS% is down slightly so far.

Oddly enough, what mostly stands out to me here isn’t the Thunder, but how ridiculous the Warriors and Heat’s seasons started. 2018 Warriors are way way above everybody else, and Miami was doing this before the 3 ball really exploded.

Interesting how every single one of them is from 2014 to now lol Just shows how much easier it is to score now than ever. Luka has better stats than young Lebron who played in a dead ball era; If Lebron came into the league now he’d probably average 37/9/9
