Watching the end of game I was expecting the Bulls to wait for the Raps to run the clock that play but they seemed to still be going for the ball.
I find that "last shot" has everything to do with whether the defense admits defeat and shows passive disinterest when that last play ball is inbounded.

It's one of those unwritten rules I never fully agreed with. For under 13 basketball players who are learning to play, I'm all for mercy rules. NBA players are payed entertainers though, and I don't think it's disrespectful to the losing team for winning teams to take a final shot.
Even as a fan of a mediocre team I don't really hold it against opposing teams if they were to take that shot on us.

I’d imagine 90% of his frustration comes from the scenario he’s in, not Pascal taking the shot. I know nuance is hard for the nephews in here, but sometimes people build up a lot of frustration and the littlest thing makes it boil over; chances are that’s what happened here. It’s just as cringe to be caught up on some basic words someone said when they’re experiencing frustration, especially when there was no disrespect directed at anybody, just him airing out what he felt.
