The Wizards current arena was originally called the MCI Center. MCI was eventually purchased by Verizon so it got renamed to the Verizon Center. It’s now called the Capital One Arena. Personally I still call it the MCI Center as that name has stuck with me since I was a kid when it opened. I’m curious if you all also call your arena by an old name or sponsor? Pretty sure I already know the answer for Lakers fans.

I will always and forever call our arena the Triple A or the American Airlines Arena. Doesn’t matter wtf they change it to

Air Canada Center for us. Sad they had to change to Scotiabank :(

So damn confusing now that Rogers and Scotia Bank have a monopoly on arena naming rights in Canada.

We didn't need a sponsor. The Palace

They HAD to move on from “The Malace at the Palace”

The half time show will forever be 'prudential at the half' for me...

Target Center has been Target Center since 1989. So that, I guess.

To me it’ll always be the Pepsi Center. I’m not a fan of calling it “Ball Arena”

I like the fact that Boston’s arena has Toronto in it’s name.
