I thought they suppose to give the player techs now for flopping and fining them. That was supposed to be implemented this season. NBA is a joke and the refs are fucking horrible every season
NBA - Main
Game analysis, highlights and everything else that is happening in the NBA.
That flop rule is only gonna be used at the end of the game to completely screw one team in the most slimey way possible, and it’s gonna be called by foster himself. Why could I see the warriors being eliminated cause they called cp0 on a flop
The NBA is so 'rigged' lol. It's been proven before, ya think they just stopped?
I sometimes turn off games if I see he’s working. I only want to watch basketball
This is egregious.
I think the refs should do press conferences after games as well
Hate brooks but god damn that was such a bad flop.
Both a foul and a flop occurred. Brooks moves kyries arm from retrieving the basketball which causes the mishandle. Kyrie acts like he got shot in the face. Both can occur.
I mean both are true. Kyrie would have probably caught the ball with the left if DB didn't hold his arm briefly
This is what happens when you’re a superstar like Dillon Brooks you get a lot of the calls. Go against you. Lol.
Anyone remember when they first added coaches reviews? Almost every review was "call stands X team loses a TO" for the first two or three weeks of NBA. It got so bad. They still crying about having to make correct calls. Also Foster prob had a sick parlay on Kyrie.
Refs are betting on these games. There’s no other answer
Players are allowed to travel, carry the ball, set illegal picks and flop. The oldheads were right
Hot take, that might be a massive flop but that's still a foul on his arm. Not enough for the flop, but Brooks clearly holds Kyrie's arm preventing him from completing the pullback dribble.
That was a foul tho….
I mean. Flops are bad for the sport. But on the other hand fuck Dillion Brooks
seeing all
I was watching the game and thought this was egregious lol. I do think we still win tho.
This rule is going to go the way of the challengeable pass interference in the NFL. North American refs will always have too much of an ego to admit they're wrong and overturn a call.
It's absolutely ridiculous to have the guy who called it on the court, also be the guy in charge of the reviews, of course he's going to say what he called was right. Gotta take a page out of VAR and send it to a group of people in a room far away from the arena. All the ref has to do is ask for a check, and they will tell him the result. Keep the refs on the floor out of this process.
Kyrie lost his handle and immediately went into shot by sniper reaction
Lillard sealed the Bucks/Heat game with a flop. It was a good game until that BS call. Wonder if L2M will catch that.
All I know is the officiating in this game was bonkers all night
I don’t get it, brooks clearly hits/holds his left arm which affects kyries dribble
Kyrie acted like a sniper was in the building. It was probably the most obvious flop I've seen this season. Flops are supposed to be called a technical foul now, so even though Brooks did foul him, there should've been a tech called as well.
but there was contact, is it a flop if there was actually a foul?
Not sure how to feel about this. These are two of the biggest assholes in professional sports (three if you count Foster). Wish everyone could find a way to lose.
Have they used the new flop rules at all?
Meanwhile they spent 5 minutes reviewing an obvious blocking foul on Sasha Vezenkov for flopping last night
What happened to "marginal contact"
Kyrie did get hit in the arm he just exaggerated it. That's why they didn't overturn it, it was a foul
Worst flop Ive seen all year and its not even close. Or called lmao
He grabbed his arm clearly which made him lose the ball, he flopped after but the call still stands because it was a foul.
He did not touch his arm at all. They show another view, he was not touched lol.
Scott Foster trying to win MVP this season. The guy is in absolute prime form early on.
I know we joke about refs but good lord this is ridiculous. Why even say they were going to do something about the flop rule at all. It would have been better to say nothing
Is this foster guy crooked?
I mean this is a pretty non egregious example. Brooks clearly pulls his left arm out of where Kyrie wants it to catch the dribble, which causes him to lose the ball. A no-call here would be even less fair. Just because he flopped doesn't mean the foul itself didn't happen, he should get the foul but league should review and fine him as well.
He stepped on his foot
Brooks right arm grabs Kyrie’s left arm during the behind the back dribble, preventing Kyrie from maintaining the dribble. It’s clearly a foul on Brooks. Kyrie embellished to make sure he got the call, but it wasn’t a no foul flop.
Well it's Dillon Brooks. So like, oh well.
How about instead of calling techs on flops you just don't give them the foul
This flop is actually pissing me off
That was a clear and obvious foul before the flop.
Someone should go full firestorm against Foster. Then when the league issues a fine, appeal and serve them with a antitrust lawsuit. They won't win but raise the biggest fuckin stink imaginable. Every single day you get within 20 yards of a media member just reference your lawsuit.
When the person who works the phones at the commissioners office steps in the office at 7am and hears that phone ring, they immediately know who is calling.
Just total scorched earth.
FBI needs to get involved!?
Fuck Scott Foster
I can't believe I'm feeling sorry for Brooks. He's a jerkoff but he got done dirty here.
A lot of people here have not played basketball in their life.
There is a foul because his hand stopped Kyrie’s motion to get the ball even if It was a light touch.
Even though kyrie flopped a little to sell the foul.
