i cant decode which one would be a better purchase around the same price (1700 usd) . A

Not only does the Grand Seiko look better, but you better factor that 1700 into your repair costs because 10 years or so in and that Omega might cost you 1700 to keep on ticking

Those pie pan constellations are really special. I feel like the GS is a bit generic in comparison.
