The counterclockwise infographic is fucking up my brain.

This includes the actions of protest and politics...

And this is how they create hot topics and manipulate outrage that they can benefit off of whether it's good or bad doesn't matter to them.

Like if you're watching riots or protests they will feed you more to suck you into more extremist things because extremist things make more money and are easier to use for political and business agendas.

They do not care if they influence a shooting or if you end up losing your freedom or life... Because it isn't about you or the good of humanity, it's all a business and or "the game" of power. The same game used by gangs in the streets is the same game played in the mainstream.

That is indeed possible. But it's also possible to use this power to induce resignation and apathy so you won't oppose resistance when they become even more intrusive and pervasive.

As you said, it's not even strictly about the politics. It's just whatever's most profitable, without any consideration for the human lives on the other side.

I agree they, do both and more. People are all different in their emotions and psychology... The situations I mention in my post are just one small specific demographic.

This is a good thing. If AI is tracking me on Lemmy, that means capitalism is going to make more open source products for me!

Right?
