Huh, I never thought of it that way before but it kinda is.

Reminds me of someone who was arguing that Everhood wasn't a rhythm game since the player isn't moving with the beat. There was never any resolution to that, but I'd totally dub Everhood a Music Visualizer Experience. MVE also sounds kind of rad.

My 13 and 11yos have been obsessed with this game for years, and recently went ape when this update came out. Just in time for their holiday break. Not my cup of tea though, that's Vampire Survivors atm.

I have it in my library, but I don't think I've ever actually played it. Now's as good a time as any.
