We should focus on reducing the emissions we can easily reduce right now. As I've said, intercontinental travel is not a huge part of plane travel/emissions in Europe.

You can make synthetic fuel from CO2 and lots of electricity, and researchers say, that this might be something for those long flights. But it will make them much much more expensive.

Night Trains for European Routes.
I do this regularly for all my long distance travels. It's unfortunately more expensive than flying, but it's better for the environment and you don't really lose time as it's over night.

Most flights aren't long distance, but "I want to get wasted 1000kms away on a 30€ easyJet Fare with the boys"
And even for the long distances in Europe, if the political will is there you could have High Speed Night Trains

Lol, does anybody believe that the company who broke repeatedly the law, and stole entire shadow libraries for their models and scrapes the internet excluded the data of European users before, and will do it now?

She did quite well keep the right wing assholes inside and outside under control for a decade. That's a win for me

They lost support in several towns that are seeing hospital services cut back as part of the central government's savings drive.

🥳

Good. Austerity belongs in the trashcan of history

So you're moving Goalposts again?
Nobody was talking about a VPN for accessing your private home or company network. Even you were talking about a commercial VPN Providers...

You're really insufferable

And knowing him, he will say something terribly stupid in both of these countries, which will make them upset with us

Why do trains in the US always look like a Rimowa Suitcase?

There was plenty of space to give way. But his "ja" at the end of every sentence makes my blood boil too

That's not a dense urban situation at all. There was plenty of space on the road in the video. Usually the cars drive a bit on the pedestrian walkway or just really tight to the left/right end and it's enough. Would also have been plenty sufficient on the road in the video

The german guy is playing it up for views but i do agree that's pretty bad.

I've made the same observation when I visited New York. He's not really exaggerating
