Here is some interesting NASA Data I just found to program into the ship’s computer, since there looks like they could be some Class M Planets in it worth having the Helm on the Bridge set a course to, and continuing the mission of exploring strange new worlds, seeking out new life and new civilization, and to boldly go where no one has gone before.

It's starting to get dark when I'm heading home, and I'm thinking that I'd like to be more visible. I have a headlight and tail light on my bike, but I'd like one that's a little higher up as well.

I'm finding a lot of headlamps that work with a GoPro mount, but my helmet does not have one of those. It also doesn't have an easy spot to stick an adhesive GoPro mount to, but I found this video where a guy uses a silicone adhesive to stick one on: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uLpKEc-_AQs. I'm wondering if I should try that, or just buy a new helmet with a built-in GoPro mount.

Does anyone here have a helmet headlight that you like? And, how is it attached?

President Donald Trump gave a rambling answer when pressed about free speech concerns after right-wing activist Charlie Kirk was killed last week.

Trump made the remarks in an interview with Fox News’s Martha MacCallum on Thursday from Chequers, the U.K. Prime Minister’s country home. Trump has since departed the U.K. following a two-day state visit, which included a star-studded state banquet and a meeting with Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

BUDAPEST, Hungary (AP) — Since taking office in January, President Donald Trump has waged an aggressive campaign against the media unlike any in modern U.S. history, making moves similar to those of authoritarian leaders that he has often praised.

On Wednesday, Trump cheered ABC’s suspension of Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show after the comedian made remarks about the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk that criticized the president’s MAGA movement: “Congratulations to ABC for finally having the courage to do what had to be done,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.

It was the latest in a string of attacks against news outlets and media figures he believes are overly critical of him. Trump has filed lawsuits against outlets whose coverage he dislikes, threatened to revoke TV broadcast licenses and sought to bend news organizations and social media companies to his will.

The tactics are similar to those used by leaders in other countries who have chipped away at speech freedoms and independent media while consolidating political power, including Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, a close Trump ally whose leadership style is revered by many conservatives in the U.S.

“What we’re seeing is an unprecedented attempt to silence disfavored speech by the government,” said Brendan Nyhan, a political scientist at Dartmouth College. “Donald Trump is trying to dictate what Americans can say.”

Rime is a very melancholic game by the sadly now defunct Tequila Works. You play a child that is stranded alone on an island but soon gets support by a fox spirit. Together you must solve the puzzles of the island and reach and climb the only landmark of this place, the huge central tower. The puzzles are not overly complicated or hard, but there was enough variety in them to entertain me over the whole play time of roughly 7 hours without feeling bored or it being repetitive. The levels are each unique in setting, theme and atmosphere to each other, highlighting the developers craft. Each level is a big open world, where you need to explore in order to find new ways to progress.

The highest strength of this game is its atmosphere and the music. Both are fantastic and similar to Ico, since you also explore a strange fortress together with a lone companion and wonder together at the vistas.

It's available on GoG, Steam, XBox One & PS4 but the price of 35 € really hurt the game in my opinion. <15-20 € is a fairer price range for the amount of content.

Nearly 23 percent of Collingwood, Ontario, is covered by lawn. In Montreal, 96.5 square kilometres of turf add up to be 43 times bigger than the city’s sprawling Mount Royal Park. Nearby Laval, Quebec, has an additional 35.5 square kilometres. And Toronto has 79.6 square kilometres of lawns, equalling an area 50 times bigger than High Park, one of the city’s largest green spaces.

These grassy lawns are great for cartwheels and picnics, but manicured turf offers no place for butterflies, bees and other pollinators to eat, nest, reproduce and overwinter.

For years now, the David Suzuki Foundation (DSF) has been working to claim back this vital green space with its Butterflyway Project, an initiative that empowers everyday citizens to expand habitat for butterflies and other pollinators in neighbourhoods across Canada.

Volunteer Butterflyway Rangers work within their community to create a Butterflyway. By planting gardens (sometimes even in canoes), sharing seeds and resources, educating residents and spreading the word, little actions by hundreds of volunteers have a big impact for our tiny friends. Between the program’s inception in 2017 and 2024, these rewilders planted more than 100,000 native wildflowers and grasses and more than 3,000 trees and shrubs for a total of 7,400 habitat gardens – and they’re just getting started.

Today's game is Mario Kart 64. It was a long day today so i decided to kick back and just take it easy. So, this was my first choice. I did the Mushroom Cup mainly today. It was feeling like a Train kind of mood, you know? Sometimes all we need to really make a good day is a train.

I got first place in all of them. I did mess up a little on the first cup because i kept accidentally hitting Print Screen instead of F12 to take a screenshot and that would freeze up my entire thing, but i adapted quickly and caught up in first place by the second lap.

On Koopa Troopa beach i kept accidentally drowning Toad while trying to get screenshots though. I wouldn't be surprised if he lost a few brain cells from being deprived of oxygen. Sorry Toad.

While playing through this i realized the version in World is vastly different, i don't know if it's a bad kind of different or just a different kind of different. But it was something i noticed. I suppose if i didn't notice it's just different different, but who knows.

Anyways, i did the entire cup and came in first. Overall, relaxing way to spend my evening. It's fun to kick back and relax with a game that is very basic and fundamental like this. It's very low stress. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to try new ways to kill some time for the evening.
