The left ear rattles at relatively low volume 50-60 db especially if it's bass heavy. I don't know the cause maybe some dust maybe it's the black material I don't know. If I can send back to them and maybe get some other headphone with some extra payment should get Ananda nano or Ananda stealth instead? I had 2 edition xs with the same problem already.

First off, this is my first pair of really nice over-ear headphones. My daily drivers are a pair of AirPod pros (gen 1) and I already really enjoyed the sound from those but I really wanted something comfortable that I can just leave at my desk and not have to worry about the battery going dead.

I wouldn't consider myself a super sensitive crazy audiophile but I really appreciate good sound and I was definitely impressed with these when I started listening to music, Ive had them for about a month now and I just love listening to movie soundtracks with them, Ive never had or tried open-backs and the soundstage is so good compared to anything I've ever been exposed to in the past. These are also soooo comfortable. I wear them all day for work with no discomfort at all and I have a really big head lol.

But the reason I'm writing this post is because I decided to watch Master And Commander with these headphones on and I am seriously blown away. Every battle scene in that movie gave me straight up goosebumps with these headphones! It was such a joy to watch and just listen to the beautiful sound of the ships in the water or the cannon fire. Mind you Im just plugging these straight into my laptop so I imagine once I get a decent amp for it (Im thinking a BTR-5 just to start) it will get even better.

I don't regret a single dollar I spent on these, they're so fun, comfortable and beautiful!

Did anyone else notice after using the DT990 for a substantial amount of the time, the sound changes significantly in the bass becoming much more boomy and punchy sounding? Replacing the pads with 770 pads brings this out much more as I just happened to figure. That's what brought me to make my first post here, lol.

Hi all - I bought these recently as an upgrade to the old (wonderfully fitting) Audio Technica studio mx50 I have. I cannot actually believe how bad the fit is for the W1000Z. It slips and scapes - feels like a couple of lizards crawling around in my head. I have to keep my head perfectly still or the lizards kick off again.

They Sound pretty good - clear, open with a nice amount of kick in the bass, but I just can’t stand them.

That’s my rant. Anyone else experienced a terrible fit?

Lizards crawling?

Is there a secret to this particular set of headphones ?

Just wondering if anyone else experienced the same thing or if it's just me. Noticable improvement in almost every set I threw into it. The 3rd gen was noticably weaker and added a weird "warmth" to the bass and treble. As a streamer and musician this has freed up some valuable desk space and I've repurposed my main PC DAC into another system.

Normally it wouldn't be worth mentioning but the difference is strong enough for me to wonder if my gen3 was actually slightly defective. Thoughts/experiences from anyone else by chance?

I’ve had many different AirPods throughout the years. I inherited a pair of Pros after my last pair of Gen 2s got destroyed. I love that the Pros have a button and read your texts, and that you can use ‘Hey Siri’. My only issue is that the Pros do NOT stay in my ears if I dare move at all. (I bought the XS ear pieces and that helped, but only a little).

I tried on a pair of Galaxy buds and they stayed in my ears! (Groundbreaking, I know 😂).

Can someone point me to a pair of ANY brand ear buds (not over the ear) that have a button to pause or end calls etc, read incoming texts, and respond to ‘Hey Siri’?

I stupidly didn’t screen shot a post I saw the other day that mentioned either an app or website that shows what products have been on sale for and when.

Any clues ?

Just discovered this app. I love that it allows me to default to LDAC 16/44/quality settings without having to manually fiddle with developer options every time I connect headphones, earbuds, and speakers. I can also toggle between LDAC 16/44/quality and LDAC/16/44/adaptive settings with one click through saved profiles. Paid $4.13 for the premium app. Well worth it for audiophiles who use LDAC.

So basically I listen to music coz it’s my therapy but I think I’m listening to it too loud I have a sound limit at the moment which is at 90dn for casual music but 95 for the gym, will this affect me in later life or is it okay??

So I bought myself a pair of WF-1000xm3 from sony and it's my first time using earbuds that sit further in the ear. It feels awkward and when I take them out everything sounds a little different for a minute or so before adjusting again. Also notice when walking with them it kind of shounds like they are shaking in my ear. Is this normal and for the shaking should I be changing eartips for a better fit?

I'm a proud owner of Sennheiser HD650 for more than 5 years. Absolutely love them. Decided to try Beyerdynamic DT 1990 pro from Amazon at 430Eur. And I've come to the conclusion that its time for me to own 2 excellent headphones.

Now being the cheap ass I am. I want to return the ones I have and buy a used pair for 300Eur.

The question. Will the used headphones purchased in 2019 be as good as the new ones? I mean i dont see my HD650 ageing besides the pads.

Cheers and happy black Friday shopping

i bought my first airpods but they're really cheap like 3 dollars and they didn't come with a manual , how can I tell if they're done charging? When I open the box, a red light keeps blinking and also apparently the charging time is 1.5 hours and i've been charging them for over 1.5 hours with a 20000 mA power bank

TLDR: Product recommendations please!

Purpose: for traveling on planes. Ambient /background plane noise doesn't bug me one bit. Ironically I find that noise cancelation headphones usually make the sounds of screaming kids worse; because it isolates all of the other background/white noise thus leaving only the screaming to hear.

I am not a sound engineer and this is way out of my expertise- just looking for go-to headphones that excel at blocking crying/shrieking pitched noises. I don't care if they serve zero other functions. Would not need the headphones for any other purpose - they would be just for plane travel.

For the sake of this post, let's say that money is not an issue.

I just have to ask some questions because it's confusing and impossible to find a definite answer online. I have Apple Music. I have AirPod Pros. I can play Spatial Audio on them. But it never says "Spatial Audio", it simply says "Dolby Atmos". I don't know if that's the same thing. When I plug in other headphones, it says the same thing. But l'm not sure if they're playing actual Spatial Audio or not, because even with no headphones on it still says "Dolby Atmos". They couldn't make it any more confusing!!

Hello all!

I’ve been using a BTR7 with some Shure iem’s. I like the interface and eq with the BTR7.

I’m waiting for my postman to deliver some Focal Bathys! I love the idea of a totally mobile and quality BT headphone. Having said that I also look forward to relaxing in front of a fire enjoying great sound. Is there an advantage and does it make sense to use the BTR7 with the Bathys instead of using the built in DAC? In that scenario, I would be using the Bathys and BTR7 hardwired to an iPhone 15 pro.

TIA.

S.

Now, I'm no headphones expert, but I love messing around with headphones. With that being said, the pair from Dan Clark is exceptional. Not only do they sound really clear, but for the music I like, they do a good job regulating bass and letting everything shine through. Now, I know the Fiio has a lot to do with it, but headphones do too. Just as much as I love the cans, I love the device powering the cans too. I just wanted to shed some light on a new pair of headphones I got recently as well say that these are my first planar magnetic headphones that I ever owned.

Hopefully some people will find this neat, helpful, or whatever else.

Have a good one!

So I bought this little beast for $22 brand new, unbelievable value when ‘branded’ competitors are in the $150-$200 mark which offer the same power (1300mw @ 32ohm).

For me, I see no reason in upgrading to anything else - it drives everything flawlessly for pocket change. Genuinely surprised more people don’t recommend chi-fi like this. If anyone else has this, it’ll be interesting to get your perspective.

It’s connected directly to my PC 3.5mm output.

Even if I'm alteady happy with my current headphones, I always like to try some new stuff, even more if it's cheap and even more if it can be modded (the funniest part imo). Plus it will be my first planar pair (never tried planars, only dynamics and an e-stat).

What do you think about this headphones at this price? Have you ever had experiences with both V1 and V2 versions?

Peace✌🏻
