I don't agree with the call, but did the refs called the penalty due to the helmet contact instead of the late hit? Either way it was bad officiating and taking away the focus on how well the Packers played.

With this latest win against the Eagles, Brock has started a full NFL season’s worth of game. This is Purdy’s statistical “rookie season” from his first official start against Tampa Bay last year.

I took these stats from Pro Football Record and subtracted the games from 2022 in which he didn’t start (including the Dolphins game, even through he played most of it).

And if somehow their record was .083-5 where would that put them in the standings lol.

The last 2 minutes of this Sunday game was some of the worst officiating I have seen in my time watching the NFL. It's not just tonight's game either. We have seen this throughout the league this year. Terrible calls swinging games. Some has gotta give here.

Thru 12 weeks, Jordan Love has a similar AY/A+ to 2008 Aaron Rodgers and he's raised his cumulative AY/A+ from 86 after game 7 to 104 now.

Hear me out: officiating is notably worse than usual this year, with way more egregiously terrible calls. Is it really likely that suddenly, all these veteran NFL officials forgot how to do their jobs? Or have they been instructed to botch calls to get people talking? Goodell’s #1 job is to make the league money, and every ref botch-job gets everyone talking; more clicks = $$$. Am I the only one who thinks this??

Eagles basically have an insta 1st down when marching the the field at 3rd and short. Using this as their regular package after touchdown situations would also be an incredible advantage, almost unfair to anyone playing them in a shootout. Not saying it would have changed today's outcome, just surprised we don't see it more.
