I'm looking at doing a fan mod on my gigabyte Radeon RX 6650 XT eagle and I'd like to 3d print a cover that holds the fans and screws into the heatsink. Is there anyways that anyone know where to find such specific dimensions so I can design the cover and mark where the screw holes will have to be?

Hello

My laptops (Lenovo L340 series) audio is toast. I want to install/solder a pcb type usb audio/sound card inside laptop case and connect to an usb port inside. Also card must have amplification to probably connect to internal speakers. Does anyone had a similar experience to give me some advice and/or recommend a pcb type sound card for this type of mod.

Thanks

hi all, I have the 4060 Gainward Ghost card (I know i know, but I had my reasons) and I am quite happy with the performance... however the fans kinda suck noisewise and I like to tinker so...

any ideas or pointers to customizing it? do I have any options, now that its a cheaper card and nobody in their right mind would go for better cooling for it?

For reference, its this exact card: https://www.gainward.com/main/vgapro.php?id=1191&lang=en I tried searching the board here but found nothing.

Hiya there! My name is Brian and I love computers. Shocking, right? Well, I started building PCs with my dad back in the early 2000s and have been going at it ever since. PCs for family. PCs for friends. PCs for me. Lots of PCs for me. Lately, I've been intrigued with CNC machines and the creation of things such as custom distribution plates. I understand that this can become extremely complicated and expensive in a rather fast clip. I'm just here to see if anyone could have some recommendations on the best value of a CNC machine / software package to begin my adventure down this rabbit hole? Thanks for taking the time - cheers!

I've been in the mood to modify my PC lately and I've been thinking about lowering temperatures in my full ATX air-cooled PC. I though about making 3D-printed air ducts, but I think that it's a huge hassle and might not be that effective.

Here's a list of the small things I plan to do:

- Seal off the edges of each fan to prevent recirculation and streamline the intake
- Seal off PCIE grills to prevent recirculation on GPU
- Have intake RPM be slightly higher than exhaust RPM (Using Arctic P12 PWM PST)

Will this be a good idea and do you guys have any suggestions? I really don't mind noise. I even set my GPU fan curve to turn up to 50% at 50C and then ramp up to 100% at 75C. I'll probably be setting my fans to run at around 1300 for exhaust and 1600 intake unless you guys have better suggestions since I haven't tried it yet and I'm still waiting for my fans.

Also, I'd like to ask how my CPU fans will affect the exhaust rate. I plan to set a custom curve for the 2 Arctic P12s I'll be putting on my Hyper212 and I'm worried I'll end up with negative pressure. Considering the fans are inside and closer to the rear exhaust fan, I'm guessing it'll help the exhaust fan more than it'll help the front intakes.

Hi, so I got this exact same PC from amazon for very cheap as the guy in the video and wanted to do an upgrade to it by adding a GPU which obviously led me to the mandatory quest for finding PSU adapters for the proprietary MoBo which wasn't hard although now that I just ordered the 24 to 6 pin adapter I noticed that the original Dell PSU comes with 2 connectors, as the MoBo has a 6 pin header on the bottom and a 4 pin on the top, so I was wondering how the guy in the video managed to make it work, is the 4 pin not needed or is there another adapter for it that he didn't show?

I left a comment on his video but realistically he's not gonna reply so I came here looking for help, also, I want to throw a 6650 XT or a 3060 in there despite the massive bottleneck the i5 6500 will make since I plan on building a decent PC with the same GPU and PSU later on but for the time being I'd like to squeeze as much performance out of the 6500 as possible. Thanks in advance.

If you want to build a PC with SnowBlind mod, then I really recommend the Fractal Design Torrent Compact white and the LG Flatron L1919S. The Torrent Compact fits a 19" monitor almost perfectly, and this monitor has a one-sided PCB and a very small 5V VGA controller.
I made this mod several times and can confirm that they fit the best

Per the title, I have installed some high cfm and high wattage fans on my 4080, it works fine but i'm currently using a manual knob to control the dc. Because I bought them without even a fan header, they just have 2pin connectors - does anyone know of any controller hubs I can use to both power them (.7a/8.4w per fan), and control the dc via a mobo header?
