I feel this isn’t mentioned enough on monumental fuck ups. Melo is 22 and looking amazing while Wiseman can’t even crack the rotation in Detroit.

He wouldn’t have been handed the keys as quickly, but he would have been mentored by Curry and Klay, while having a lot of similarities in his game. In 3 years, Melo will be 25 and Klay/Curry/Dray will be retired- will this look even worse as time goes on?

It isn't mentioned a lot because they won another title almost immediately after drafting wiseman (celtics are embarrassing) but you're right. Huge missed opportunity to extend their title window and have a guaranteed star with life after curry klay and draymond.

Oh well. It's 1 mistake in like 10 years for the warriors they'll be ok
