I feel this isn’t mentioned enough on monumental fuck ups. Melo is 22 and looking amazing while Wiseman can’t even crack the rotation in Detroit.

He wouldn’t have been handed the keys as quickly, but he would have been mentored by Curry and Klay, while having a lot of similarities in his game. In 3 years, Melo will be 25 and Klay/Curry/Dray will be retired- will this look even worse as time goes on?

Same goes for the Kings and Doncic too. There’s a lot of misses in the draft. The issue is when you are picking top 5 it’s hard to pick for “fit”. You are picking that high you should really consider just going best player.
