Did they stop using their gasoline cars?
I don't understand these comments. You were given a good piece of climate news, a rather rare W that should be celebrated and replicated. Everyone also knows what the headline means, no one thought Portugal banned gasoline cars.
Good job Portugal keep at it
No reason to not run the grid on renewables while expanding your electric train, tram and bus infrastructure. Both can be done and they are interlocked.
I agree there's no reason to respond to this kind of news with "cars bad". We know, but dooming is not going to get us anywhere.
Yeah totally fuck cars (electric too) but hell yeah Portugal lets go
