What is your age? and which watch type do you prefer and use? why?

Do you ever feel like a smart watch is distracting? (when working for example. Notifications, messages, social media and so on...)

I’ve had two “smart watches”. A Fitbit and a Garmin. The Fitbit, while being more accurate for most things never gets worn. The Garmin I’ll use for running sometimes. But as watches or smart watches not so much. The battery dies and you have to keep them charged which can be annoying at times. Even a mechanical watch I know I can quickly get set up and not have to worry about it.

The other features of a smart watch weren’t worth it or were distracting to me. Notifications etc. maybe an Apple Watch would change my mind. But for the most part a Casio Royale does everything I need it to and then some, it’s lighter and I don’t have to worry about the battery.
