Actual question, that's a treatler?
A portmanteau of Hitler and treats
Someone who, when independence movements in the global south threaten the supply of cheap goods (treats) to the wealthy consumer countries, responds by adopting surprisingly Hitlerian views and supporting militaristic policies.
Basically people who tacitly or explicitly endorse imperialism as long as they get something out of it. Sometimes out of pure self interest but usually because of a misguided pessimistic pragmatism that thinks stopping the imperialism altogether is unrealistic.
