Intel is starting to show some fight too. Not much, but the B70 isn’t a bad offering for the right use case.
Problem is NVIDIA has a complete stack on offer. Hardware (all the HW, not just the GPUs), networking and software stack are all tightly integrated. They didn’t do it overnight - they bought Mellanox awhile back, and Cumulus a little after that. That got them Infiniband & Ethernet products. It’s pretty impressive, and it’s a pretty big hill for the competition to compete with. Still, there’s hope.
