I bought a projector for what it would've cost for me to take myself and my kids to the movies 3 times. It's actually really nice to enjoy the classics outdoors/indoors, wherever.
We have watched so many movies we've upgraded to a better speaker, and got a mini popcorn machine.
Beyond worth it.
I will likely bever step into a theatre again
I'm semi intrigued by this. How is it? And what kind of volume does it turn out?
I've actually become boss at making popcorn on the stove though. I watch a lot of movies.
If you haven't come across it yet, Flavacol is amazing for getting that cinema popcorn buzz.
Flavacol is insanely good, and it's stupidly cheap.
Preach!!! I got gifted my first one and it lasted like 4 years and going. I have a fresh one lined up.
I sprinkle it on my roast potatoes now while they're still in the oven. Nom nom nom. Amazing gear.
Try it on fries as well, a little goes a long way.
Oh yeah Flavacol is the best. I also really like using coconut oil.
Ours is 8 oz(1 cup kernels) but it's a true popcorn machine because it does the heating, and the turning. I really like it. It's enough to feed ~10 people with a little bowl, and it only takes ~10 minutes so it's easy to make seconds to share, and I've never had anyone have room for thirds.
We tried an air popper but I just can't get the right flavor
