I saw this post title and thought surely it was hyperbole. Nope, straight up a standing O for good defence and effort on the glass. As a former hustle-player with zero offensive game, it brings a tear to my eye.

Did your high school coach ever stop practice, yell at the starters? Because they were getting out hustled by you, telling them that "if yall had the same hustle as Comment, you'd be unstoppable?"

Cause I get it. That was such a point of pride/shame rolled into one odd moment

Not in high school (our coach wasn’t a yeller) but on my 8th grade team there was a kid who was already 6’4” on my team. He didn’t really want to be there but played because his dad expected him to. It was kind of sad tbh. But anyway, I used to eat that dude’s lunch every day at practice (because again, his heart wasn’t in it at all) despite being a foot shorter than him and it caused the coach to do just this several times. It’s also how I became our starting PF at like 5’3”.
