It's easy to see the effects of users moving to the fediverse. Reddit has been sad since it nerfed /r/All. In fact, it seems like a thinly veiled attempt to control what its users see under the guise of providing a more tailored user experience. For me, the overall effect is that it's homogeneous, boring and I don't want to be there anymore.
The moderation team is just not the same without Ghislaine Maxwell
Ehh, I don't know if we have that big of an effect on Reddit. I'd see more of their older, more traditional users going back to their ubb hobby boards for whatever their main interest is, which are very still out there.
I appreciate lemmy/Piefed being here as an alternative either way.
They removed porn from r/all but if you browse enough you get naked drawn children. Fucking hell.
